"I never trust fully." Which was a rare admission from her. "You have the look of someone that might not be fully trustworthy anyway." There was something about his face and features. He made her think of an imp or a trickster. The stories she might have heard from home.

"Loki?" Where did she know that name? Was it in one of the books she read in the West End? There had been a writer that visited her a number of times, offering books instead of jewelry as gifts. They were of different sorts. Novels, myths and fairytales. Somewhere in there, his name might have popped up.

"Miriam Smith," she lied. "Your name is familiar. Were you named after someone in particular?" That seemed more likely than him actually being from something she read.
