He can guess at a lot of things, get all the information he can, but it's still different than getting answers from the person he's talking to. Not that he can rely on those entirely, humans are wonderful liars, but it's still better than guessing games. Not that he can't work with those, but it's so much harder. And now, he needs all the easy information he can get if he wants to stand a chance of helping them all get through this and out of here.

"Nightmares are one thing, but souls are another. I've been haunted for the better part of my life, luv, and if there was a way for the bloody blighters to get to me here? They already would be. And no amount of running has kept them away in the past." He's fine with a little openness, he supposes. They're all about to get one hell of a dose of the supernatural if his predictions are right anyway. "So that leaves the bigger question. Why are ghosts not allowed, but living people are?"
