On the morning of May 22nd, Saturday, the hotel bus mysteriously appears outside the hotel's front door. Even if you were loitering in the lobby or somehow managed to go outside, you wouldn't have seen it roll in. It's suddenly just... there.
It's empty, though. No driver, no passengers. No gas, even. It's also old and not airconditioned, but that should be fine since it's a way out, right? You'll take what you can get.
Only it doesn't work that way. Once there are eight creatures inside or the clock strikes eight (in the morning), the doors shut and the bus just starts to move out. To where, who knows? And, hey, where did that driver come from?
Those left behind are free to give chase, but once they reach That Tree... well, you know what happens.
The hotel staff will also deny the bus' sighting. What bus are you talking about? They'll even corral you inside, perhaps a tad bit aggressively, since your safety is their responsibility. There might be killers on the loose and more people might turn up missing!
II. HARD TO TELL IF YOU WERE EVER HERE

By noon, Zed Martin and Alex DiStefano get calls from the front desk. The staff on duty is profusely apologetic, saying that she'd made a mistake, and begs them not to report her to the manager or she'll get fired. They're then requested to move to their new rooms: 408 and 801, respectively.
The staff on duty, however, talks like they both just checked in. She'll ignore anything being said about having been in the hotel for a while, and will eventually end up just repeating herself no matter the flow of the conversation. If they resist moving out, they'll receive the same phone call at the same time every day, for the rest of the week.
Anyone who investigates Natasha Romanoff and Dick Grayson's rooms will find them spotless. Like they've never been there.
In the afternoon, a man in sunglasses and a fedora hat arrives. He's introduced as Hoárr, a detective from Oslo, and the staff on duty requests the guests to be nice to him. Hoárr is cryptic as hell, however; he doesn't speak unless it's someone from the hotel who addresses him, and unless he's interrogating people. Which he's quick to do, inviting the following to Odin's altar out back one by one: John Marston, Alexandra Trese, Anna Morasca, Bucky Barnes and Poe Dameron.
He'll also call on the 7F guests. Why? Because Jacen Solo and Cleopatra Selene are missing, though unlike Nat and Dick's case, all signs of occupancy are there: the items they've obtained, the pets they've collected...
Sakura Kinomoto will also turn up missing, if anyone looks for her.
Then everyone will wake up and find the bus out front. Nobody even remembers falling asleep, especially if sleep's not your thing. One thing's for certain, though: it's Saturday again.
OOC NOTES, ETC.
- If you haven't figured it out by now, the number 8 is unlucky in Norse mythology! Time will also loop for eight days. You're welcome.
- NPC interactions this time around will alas have to be OOC. Come this way to talk to Hoárr!
- Feel free to start new threads in this log. Or just continue under your toplevel in the first one. Whatever is easiest for you, really.

Seeing as Nita knew three of the people who disappeared, she'll also be concerned about this! She may talk to Hoรกrr, though as of right now I don't plan on letting her go alone.

Nita may or may not figure out time is looping, but if she does while the loop is happening she will hate it. Just as FYI!

John "Why haven't I pet enough dogs?" Marston
He notices the bus, takes a couple pictures, it's weird enough where he needs the evidence.
Otherwise, he's nursing a hangover with the Constantines, checking on Sadie, and congratulating Thor on a decent game. He's also giving another offering to Odin, this time it's six bullets, a cigarette, and a dollar (as is tradition.)
He's free most of the day.
Investigations
He's going to be hunting in the morning, since he needs to feed and there's nobody he'd consider feeding on in the hotel. He keeps it fairly clandestine.
After talking to our buddy, Hoรกrr, the day's free. He'll be pinning more photos to the bulletin board. One is of the horsey friends from the stables playing in their paddock, another is his puppies and Sadie playing on the hill, and then there's a set of pictures that are just the Tree. The one with the dogs and his partner is in 60s flavored color, the other two are in black and white.
While Sadie's recovering, he'll be up to look in on her, and out walking his durgs some more. Visit him or pester him while he's visiting Sadie!
Loops
He'll catch on that he fell asleep for more than an hour, which is unusual. He'll be bringing it up to Sadie, Thor and the other Johns. He's also going to be glowering at his partner for being able to eat food. Rude woman.

i dropped the ball with zed (and alina) and i'm so sorry for that. this month really just got away from me. i don't have any concrete plans just some general ideas.
- zed got injured during laser tag so maybe she's still recovering.
- she's probably still coping with the fact she died before arriving her and blames herself for getting john killed too.
- even though she's injured she's probably gone out to go sketching even if you tell her she should be in bed.
- her visions have started to come back so if anyone wants some fun tactile psychic shenanigans come at me!!

Sadie
There is a recovery log for Sadie up here. Where people can see her after Laser Tag, other wounded can commiserate or discuss what happened. She got a broken leg and is in a cast and is not happy about it. It'll heal up fine once she's not human and can feed again.
But she is taking advantage of her temporary mortality to experience all the things that living, breathing people do. So eating, drinking, chocolate, sunlight, all those wonderful things that seem so small are a big deal when you haven't done them in a while. So introduce her to new foods! Or booze! Or just chat. She's up for all of it.
Sadie will not be jumping on the weird bus, but she might be walking the pups when it is there and getting a good look at it.
Come meet the pooches, discuss the strange, and did you know this place had a fancy coffee bar? It's got these cool to-go cups that don't spill!
She knows John well enough to know he'll wind this and want to be all over it, so she will too. Not that she knew any of the folks who came up missing more than passingly but they've tracked a thing or two in their time.

Beverly
It was kind of a bust for her, she is a good shot but really sort of violence averse so she didn't score any major points. Her main concern will be checking in on Richie and Ben to see how they made it through.
Bev is going to mother hen Richie probably to the point of being annoying, but she worries about losing any of her friends now, they've lost too much already.
So look to find her hovering around people after it's all wrapped up, helping where she can and having the worst jones for a smoke she's had since she got here. So if you're a smoker and recognize the need, be a saint and give her one?
Strange busses are not her thing, she will not be going on one and will be worried about people who do. Richie would have to work very hard to try and get her on that bus and she absolutely will not go without Ben.
Sorry other guests but she really is somewhat greedily concerned with the friends she lost for 27 years and only just got back. But she still cares about you too!
Since this is post-laser tag her 'shine' is back in full effect and she will be able to feel and see things again so make that all kinds of fun for her by exposing her to traumas!
