Each of the rooms have vintage telephones similar to the above, but they can only call other rooms, the front desk and the restaurant. The business center next to the gym on the first floor has several computers for guests to use. They seem like they're connecting to the internet well enough, if not just a little slow. However, guests will never actually receive emails from anyone in the outside world that are not just your general spam. Like their friends and family haven't sent them anything while they're on vacation. And unbeknownst to them, their emails out will not actually reach their destination.
